Its about time these Lawyers and Judges are held accountable. 40 years ago Earl Gray was Affiants 1st Husbands lawyer ie John Scarrella and his Mistress at that time Joan Cloyd Gooselaw, involved in the Murder of a 10 month old Baby Boy Henry Gooselaw Jr. Sharon and her Mother on the Advice of aunt Dr. Margaret Doren, hired Louise Miller Oneil.
Scarrella in 1956 was still married to Pat Foy, undue influence on Affiant at that time age 17, John age 27.
We went to Iowa to get Married, Sharon had a Miscarrage, then 1959 had a Baby Girl Vonessa Anna Maria Scarrella, John was messing around with Cloyd-Gooselaw subsequently Affiant was Separated John hired Earl Gray to get Divorce and Custody of Vonessa. John also was neighybor to DFL Warren Spannus AG at that time. John got $4,000 Sharon got the Home at 2109 E.4th Street St. Paul MN

TEXT SIZE3EMAILPRINTMOREA Twin Cities activist has filed a formal complaint against one of Jeronimo Yanez's attorneys in his trial for the fatal shooting of Philando Castile, alleging that he engaged in "ethnic profiling, harassment and abrasive conduct" toward an 18-year-old Ethiopian potential juror.
In the complaint filed against Earl Gray with the Minnesota Office of Lawyers Professional Responsibility, Michelle Gross of Communities United Against Police Brutality alleges that Gray badgered the potential juror, a female college student who was ultimately one of two people of color selected to serve on the jury during trial. Yanez was ultimately acquitted.
Gross, who said she attended the entire trial, said Gray profiled the woman by suggesting that she didn't understand the criminal justice system.
The exchange came during the third day of jury selection, when Gray tried to remove student, who immigrated to the United States when she was 10, from the jury pool. Gray asked the woman if she was a citizen, and then asked her to describe the American criminal justice system and to define felony, misdemeanor, credibility and impeachment.
Dissatisfied with her answers, Gray moved for Ramsey County District Judge William Leary to excuse her, telling the court (after she had been led out of the room) that she was "simply not competent" and that any other 18-year-old could "quite easily" answer his questions.
Assistant Ramsey County Attorney Richard Dusterhoft pushed back, noting that Gray didn't ask any other potential jurors to define the legal terms. (Leary did ask many about their feelings regarding the criminal justice system.)
"She seems to be an intelligent young woman," Leary said before denying Gray's request.
Gross' complaint cites a violation of a professional conduct rule prohibiting actions that "have no substantial purpose other than to embarrass, delay or burden a third person."
"I understand the need for lawyers to provide zealous representation of their clients but Mr. Gray's conduct toward a very earnest potential juror simply because of her ethnicity was beyond the pale," Gross said in a statement.
Gray did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Born 1-7-29 to John and Mary. He was 1 of 5 children, Louis (Ann), Theresa (Styles), Francis (Lee) and James and all have passed except his sister-in-law Lee. He is survived by his wife JoAnn, daughter Vonessa (Andy) and seven grandchildren Elsaa (Brian), Elishaa (Brad), Johnny, Ciara, Ursula (Robert), Olivia (Scott) and Davy, and 6 great grandchildren Trey, Andrew, Neveah, Landon, Lincoln and Isaiah plus nephews and cousins. He loved you all so much and you brought him many laughs and much happiness. He had a great sense of humor and loved sharing stories and laughter. He was 100% Italian and loved Italian food, the big bands, singers and songs esp. Frank Sinatra. He had great enjoyment every day from his dogs, Boots and his German Shepherds Sheba, Keno and Shepy. He grew up in the Rice Street area, graduated from Washington High School, worked at Patton Foods downtown St. Paul and Red Owl Stores and he belonged to the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union. He served in the Korean War where he made a lifelong friend. He loved his God and his loved ones are happy to see him in God's beautiful heaven, where his dogs are waiting to play ball with him. Thank you everyone at Our Lady of Peace for their wonderful care. Funeral Services 11 AM Tuesday at O'Halloran & Murphy Woodbury Chapel (8700 Valley Creek Road, Woodbury) with visitation one hour prior to service. Private interment at Calvary Cemetery in St. Paul. Donations preferred in lieu of flowers to Our Lady of Peace Home. 651-702-0301

The funeral for my father went very well .The service was absolutely beautiful. The eulogies were awesome .The people that were there were so kind. All of his friends and family put this together so wonderful .The Italian food was fabulous. Thank you Jo for putting this all together and kids. My dad would have been so proud.Love all our family so very very much .Thank you everyone who came to honor my father. Now he is at peace. Such a loved man by all. It was one of the most moving experiences of my life.
